Kozlov fails with a takedown attempt.
Sanchez tries to clinch but Kozlov is having none of it.

and Kozlov counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Sanchez's guard now.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sanchez is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Sanchez is trying desperately to improve position.

Kozlov is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Sanchez is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Sanchez flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Kozlov anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Sanchez and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Kozlov slips an arm under Sanchez chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Kozlov has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Kozlov is squeezing on Sanchez like an anaconda would it's prey. Sanchez fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
