Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Brock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke Skylewalker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brock kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Guns and Roses - Reckless Life. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, William Peck and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brock misses with an uppercut. Skylewalker saw that one coming.
Skylewalker pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Brock misses with a double jab
and Skylewalker counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Brock gets a takedown into half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Brock perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Brock prevents Skylewalker from improving his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Skylewalker wants to sweep but no luck.
Brock drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Skylewalker manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Brock has Skylewalker in his guard.

Brock is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Brock thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Skylewalker must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Brock wants to control the pace but Skylewalker is squirming around nicely.

Brock is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Skylewalker is in real trouble.
Brock is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Skylewalker defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Brock is trying to stick to Skylewalker's back but Skylewalker is turning into Brock. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Brock's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Skylewalker.

Brock will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Eddie Brock.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Brock, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
