And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sovann Seng!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Steve Erwin and Summer Carpenter.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seng displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Santanu.
Santanu steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Seng.
Seng is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Seng throws a combination. Santanu tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Seng rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Santanu moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

The fight stays on the outside here - Santanu looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Santanu. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Sovann Seng seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Santanu changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Seng tries to avoid it but Santanu manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Seng to the ground. Seng escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Seng lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Well Seng has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
