The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dickson tries to move into range but Clayton moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Clayton throws a series of punches but Dickson avoids them all with ease.
Dickson slips a straight right by Clayton.
Dickson rushes Clayton and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Dickson lands a hook to the side of the head.
Dickson has Clayton pressed against the cage, preventing Clayton from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Dickson lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Clayton or not.
Dickson has clasped his hands together around Clayton's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Dickson in side control lands a decent elbow.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dickson is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Clayton is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Dickson goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Clayton has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Dickson but great work by Clayton.
Dickson throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land.

Dickson has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Clayton's face.

Dickson is working for a guillotine from mount but Clayton frees his head quite easily.
Dickson is landing with some decent strikes but Clayton is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Clayton is rocked!
