PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nunoy Bermio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Smash Hammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bermio comes to the ring accompanied by Cowboys from Hell. Hammer has chosen Holla if ya hear me as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammer changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bermio tries to avoid it but Hammer manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bermio to the ground. Bermio escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Hammer shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bermio pinned against the cage. Bermio gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Bermio throws a nice inside leg kick.

The referee warns Bermio that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Hammer is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Bermio can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Hammer jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Bermio manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Hammer cracks Bermio with a big right hand but Bermio just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Hammer wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bermio, who protects the arm well.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hammer shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hammer showed some decent athleticism there.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Hammer seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
