And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Alec Ball and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mathers.
Adams scores with a takedown into Mathers's guard.
Mathers wants to sweep here but Adams controlling him for the moment.
Mathers has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Adams is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Mathers.
Mathers is not content to let Adams control the position.

Adams working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Adams is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Mathers is trying to escape and Adams transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Mathers is forced to tap! Nice work there by Adams! Very nice indeed!
