Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brandan Christie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Christie can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Silva sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Silva connects with a nice short shot to Christie's temple.

Christie looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Silva is fending him off so far but Christie persists. Nope, Silva circles away and we're back to standing.
