PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Anders Tobias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Non Ultra Steve (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steve has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Anders Tobias has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tobias gets the takedown into side control.
Steve looks gassed!
Tobias looks up at the clock and then as Steve takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Tobias smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Tobias staying calm.
Tobias seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Steve for as long as he can get away with.
Tobias's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

We're going to have a standup here because Anders Tobias wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Tobias throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

It looks like Non Ultra Steve has been cut.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Tobias lands a big head kick that sends Steve tumbling to the mat! Tobias takes a step backwards and waves Steve back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Steve is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Tobias shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Steve napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Steve is still in real trouble! Can Tobias finish him?

Tobias cracks Steve with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Tobias immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Steve is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Tobias!
