Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kirk Boon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Gillespie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boon comes into the arena with Who are you? Come on, goodbuy! blaring out of the sound system. Gillespie has chosen Knock U Out as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boon misses with a combination

and Gillespie counters with a shoot takedown. Boon fights it but they end up in guard.
Gillespie must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Boon is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Gillespie is aware though and is defending well.
