The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steve misses with a few strikes there.

Steve tries to keep at a distance but Sonnee has taken the fight into the clinch.
Sonnee lands an elbow just above Steve 's eye.
Sonnee just leaning against Steve, taking a breather.
Sonnee lands a hook that snaps the head of Steve backwards.
Steve really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Sonnee drags the fight down to the ground.

Sonnee pushes Steve off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Sonnee shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Steve napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Sonnee slows the pace down.
Steve tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A big strike lands for Sonnee! That's really hurt Steve and he's turned his back - Sonnee keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Sonnee jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
