And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Mason Capwell!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Phil Schofield and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
A looping hook to the body misses from Capwell. Jackson does a little dance to reset his feet.
Capwell uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jackson.
Jackson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Capwell manages to avoid it.
Jackson misses with the combination.
Capwell misses the shot to the body.
Capwell cracks Jackson with an open hand slap.
Jackson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Capwell circles away quickly and effectively.
Capwell shoots in for a double leg but Jackson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Jackson shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Capwell is trying to defend but Jackson finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Capwell wants to improve his position but Jackson is controlling well.

Jackson is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Capwell has managed to free his arm - good work.

Capwell is looking for a sweep. Jackson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Jackson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Capwell doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Jackson.

Jackson decides to stand and escape the position.
Capwell tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jackson was well out of range. Poor timing from Capwell.
Capwell looks to score with a jab to the body but Jackson is just out of range.

Capwell clinches with his opponent.
Jackson lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Capwell backwards.

Capwell tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Jackson.
Jackson lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Jackson lands a hook to the side of the head.
Jackson prevents the takedown attempt.

Jackson has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Capwell avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Capwell is working for takedown but Jackson is calmly controlling the position for now.
Quinton Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mason Capwell.
Jackson lands a right hand.
Jackson digs a right hand underneath Capwell's ribcage. Capwell let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Capwell tries a body shot but Jackson blocks it.
Jackson lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Jackson tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Capwell avoids it.
Capwell has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Jackson avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Capwell lands a right hand that snaps the head of Jackson backwards.
Jackson blocks an uppercut.
Jackson gets underhooks to prevent Capwell's takedown attempt.

Jackson tries to break the clinch but Capwell is controlling the position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Jackson lands a right hand.
Jackson pushes Capwell against the cage. Jackson is working some dirty boxing. Jackson pushes off with a quick right hook! Capwell goes down! Capwell tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Jackson moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Quinton Jackson!
