Ramon Manlucas had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ramon Manlucas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kenichi Atoshi!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yukihiro Shimada and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Atoshi tries for a takedown but Manlucas sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Manlucas showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Atoshi.
Atoshi tries to clinch but Manlucas moves away
and Manlucas counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Atoshi misses with a body kick.
Manlucas lands a lovely overhand right.
Manlucas jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Atoshi shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Manlucas pinned against the cage. Manlucas gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Manlucas drops Atoshi with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Atoshi looks back up at him and smiles so Manlucas waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Atoshi is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Atoshi tries for a takedown but Manlucas circles away easily
and Manlucas counters with a powerful cross that connects right on the chin and the lights go out! A massive one punch knock out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ramon Manlucas!
