Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Avon Barksdale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mariano Mison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Mariano Mison was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barksdale tries to clinch up.

Mison closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Barksdale's guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Mison stands and throws Barksdale's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Barksdale postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Mison is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Barksdale, into his guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Mison drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Barksdale dives on top into guard.

Mison has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Barksdale can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Mison quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Barksdale has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Mison celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
