The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Faustine Dael has been cut.
Man goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Man rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dael moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Man lands a nice shot that snaps Dael's head back.
Some wild striking there from Man.
Man connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Dael takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Man wants to clinch up but Dael keeps it at a distance.

Dael moves into the clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dael drops down looking for an ankle pick but Man pulls his leg out and moves away.
Dael walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Man checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Man, as that shot connected.
Dael fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Dael takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Dael tries to keep at a distance but Man has taken the fight into the clinch.
Man misses with a hook to the ribs.

Man pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Dael gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Man.

Man gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Man manages to break the clinch.

Man doesn't manage to clinch there - Dael circles away.
Man is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Man looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Dael's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Man connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Dael scrambles back to his feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Man bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Dael's head.

Man clinches up with Dael and pushes him back against the cage.

Method Man seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dael seems to have recovered his senses.
Man grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Dael takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Man cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
