Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Merrick Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Musashimaru Koyo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kane comes to the cage accompanied by Blood Sugar - Pendulum. The crowd seem to be enjoying Koyo's choice of entrance music: "Tengoku Kara Kaminari" by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole . Musashimaru Koyo acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

That was a close second round but I would say that Merrick Kane will probably get the nod.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Koyo crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Kane - the referee stops the clock and Koyo gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Kane. Koyo manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kane fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Koyo looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Koyo walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Merrick Kane.
