The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Aafke Stam and Albert Achterberg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vidmar throws an overhand right that lands on Tataglia's shoulder, as Tataglia tries to avoid the shot.
Tataglia stuffs the takedown attempt from Vidmar. Vidmar gets slowly back to his feet.

Tataglia tries to free his leg and advance position but Vidmar is retaining full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Tataglia accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Vidmar wants to get back to his feet but Tataglia is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Vidmar throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Vidmar throws a hook to the side of Tataglia's head but Tataglia sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Tataglia closes this distance looking for a takedown but Vidmar circles away.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Vidmar throws a shot from downtown. Tataglia moves away and avoids it.
Vidmar moves in looking to clinch but Tataglia pushes him off.
Tataglia fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Vidmar avoids it really well and circles away.
