Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nokia Cinko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bobby Peterson!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Nard Betker and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cinko closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Peterson's guard.
Peterson is looking to stand back up but Cinko counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Peterson.
Cinko throwing shots but Peterson is blocking nicely.
Cinko is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Cinko decides to stand up.

Peterson gets tackled into the cage by Cinko. Cinko maintains the clinch.

Cinko works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cinko gets to his feet - Peterson follows without any prompting.
Cinko moves in looking to clinch but Peterson pushes him off.
Cinko really is a fat lump.
Cinko wants to clinch up but Peterson keeps it at a distance.

Peterson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Cinko gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Peterson looks gassed!
Cinko makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Cinko.
Cinko has a closed guard, preventing Peterson from standing up.
Peterson throws a strike but Cinko rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Cinko controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Cinko prevents Peterson from getting back to his feet.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Nokia Cinko just wasn't active enough.
Cinko tries to clinch there but Peterson circles away.

Peterson rushes Cinko and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Cinko has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Peterson pulls guard effortlessly.
Cinko controls from within his opponent's guard.

Cinko gets to his feet - Peterson follows without any prompting.

Peterson rushes Cinko and presses him up against the cage.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Cinko has clasped his hands together around Peterson's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Cinko misses with an attempted head punch from side control.

Cinko stands up and beckons Peterson to his feet.

Peterson has Cinko up against the cage in a clinch.

Cinko jumps guard and drags Peterson to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Peterson throws a big right hand that misses.
Cinko tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Cinko is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Cinko is trying to keep Peterson in close.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Peterson drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Cinko dives on top into guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nokia Cinko dominated that round.

Cinko throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Peterson's waist but Peterson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cinko off to one side.

Peterson cracks Cinko with a big right hand but Cinko just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Peterson gets control of Cinko's arms and successfully pulls guard. Peterson will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Peterson has momentary wrist control but Cinko slips an elbow through the middle.

Cinko stands up from Peterson's guard - Cinko perhaps looking for a knockout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Cinko tries to bum rush Peterson with a series of wild strikes but Peterson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Peterson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Cinko.

Peterson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Cinko, pushing him back against the cage.

Peterson lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Peterson is nestled in close to Cinko, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Cinko is looking to improve his position.

Peterson is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Cinko defends it well.

Cinko is working for takedown but Peterson is calmly controlling the position for now.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Bobby Peterson was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Cinko throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Peterson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Cinko fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Peterson takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Cinko throws a right and a left that both miss.

Cinko breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

It looks like Bobby Peterson has been cut.
Sloppy strikes from Peterson. Those never looked like landing.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Cinko.
Cinko feints a jab promting Peterson to slip. Cinko then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Peterson slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Cinko lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Peterson!

Cinko throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Peterson has his hands clasped together but Cinko breaks the hold and Peterson is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Cinko!
