Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dick Stomper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mariano Mison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stomper comes into the arena with Portishead vs Tricky - Glory Is Around The Corner blaring out of the sound system. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mison fails with a takedown attempt.
Stomper feints and then cracks Mison's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Mison down.
Dick Stomper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stomper tries to clinch but Mison is having none of it.
Mison shoots in but no luck this time.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Mison checks a leg kick.
Stomper ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mison moves away.

Stomper connects with a right hand. Mison shakes it off.
Stomper feints and then cracks Mison's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Mison down.
Mison shoots for a double leg takedown but Stomper sprawls well. He's pushed Mison's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Dick Stomper has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mariano Mison.
Mison tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Stomper was well out of range. Poor timing from Mison.

Stomper is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Mison shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Stomper but Stomper pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Stomper closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Stomper.
Stomper throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Stomper connects with a leg kick. Mison looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Stomper tries to land a front kick but Mison steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Mison looks for a takedown but Stomper sprawls well.

That was a close round but I would say that Dick Stomper will probably get the nod.

Stomper fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Mison has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Mison shoots in looking for a takedown but Stomper manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Mison's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Stomper fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Mison.

Stomper has left one of his arms exposed and Mison doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Stomper screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
