Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Del Leir Roitero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt tries to clinch

and Roitero counters with a single leg into guard. Hunt didn't expect that.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Roitero might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Roitero accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Roitero throws an elbow that misses. Hunt uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Roitero's guard. Nice move by Hunt!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hunt wanted to stand there but Roitero had control of the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Roitero escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hunt gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Roitero wants to sweep but no luck.

Roitero has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hunt can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Roitero is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Roitero has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Roitero is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hunt is aware though and is defending well.

Hunt cracks Roitero with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Roitero looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Hunt finish him?

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Roitero is defended easily by Hunt.

Roitero drops down looking for an ankle pick but Hunt pulls his leg out and moves away.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Roitero is working for takedown but Hunt is calmly controlling the position for now.

Hunt creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Roitero's defenses.

Hunt drops Roitero with a big knee straight up the middle! Roitero is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Roitero is rocked!

Del Leir Roitero's cut is getting worse.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Hunt fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Roitero, pushing him back against the cage.

Hunt lands an elbow that stopped Roitero in his tracks for a moment.
Oh Roitero is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Hunt drops Roitero onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Roitero is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Hunt lands a big knee! That's hurt Roitero! Oh, he's all over the place! Hunt lands another knee that sends Roitero to the floor and the referee steps in to end the fight!
