Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jacek Goc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Bitaskis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Goc's entrance music is Two Steps From Hell - ASAP. A fine choice. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jacek Goc!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jay Bitaskis!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, William Peck and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goc throws a quick inside leg kick.
Bitaskis throws the left hand but Goc avoids the punch easily.
Bitaskis takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Goc wants to clinch up but Bitaskis keeps it at a distance.
Goc tries to clinch up but Bitaskis circles away and keeps his distance.
Goc moves out of range as Bitaskis strikes.
Goc thumps Bitaskis with a low kick.
Jacek Goc seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bitaskis lands a nice shot that snaps Goc's head back.
Bitaskis fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Bitaskis avoids a kick to the body.
Goc lands a nice leg kick that just misses Bitaskis's sensitive parts.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Bitaskis is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Bitaskis has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Goc can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Goc lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Goc knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bitaskis on the ground.
Goc perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Bitaskis is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Bitaskis is looking to control Goc's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bitaskis avoid being mounted?

Goc is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bitaskis defends it well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Jacek Goc will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Bitaskis throws a lazy right hand but Goc sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Bitaskis lands a left hand that snaps the head of Goc backwards.
Goc tries to throw a body punch but Bitaskis avoids it by throwing Goc back against the cage.

Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Goc misses with a hook from the clinch.

Goc looking to stall.
Bitaskis looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Bitaskis is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Goc is keeping busy.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Jay Bitaskis was stalling too much, according to the referee.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Bitaskis takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Goc, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
