The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Williams is working for a kimura but Williamson is defending it quite comfortably.
Williams wants to lay and pray for a moment but Williamson keeps working.

Williamson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Williams passes the guard and advances to mount!
Williams prevents Williamson from getting the reversal.
Williamson is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Williams takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Williams misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Williams unloads with some shots from mount but Williamson bucks and avoids them well.
Williams is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Williamson can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Williams jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Williamson manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Williamson tries to bench press Williams off him but Williams keeps the position.

Williams thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Williams passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Williamson!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Williams has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Williamson regains guard immediately.

Williams drops back looking for a leg! Williamson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Williamson manages to kick Williams off! Williams jumps back into Williamson's guard.

Williamson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Williams manages to get himself to full guard.

Williams controls Williamson momentarily but Williamson frees himself.

Williams escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Williamson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Williams pulls Williamson in close to his closed guard and prevents Williamson from doing any damage or advancing position.

Williams has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Williamson doesn't defend quickly enough and Williams has managed to lock this one up! Can Williamson escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Williams on a fantastic submission victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Jeff Williams!
