The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daddy keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Daddy feints and then cracks Jones's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Jones down.
Daddy throws a hook to the side of Jones's head but Jones sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Daddy tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jones was well out of range. Poor timing from Daddy.
Daddy uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Jones slips under a jab from Daddy.
A lazy left from Daddy finds it's target.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jones misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Daddy is looking to clinch.
Daddy is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Jones moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Daddy gets caught napping as Jones dives in and scores a takedown. Daddy manages to retain guard.

You get the feeling that Jones really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Jones wants to finish this one by submission but Daddy is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Jones.
Daddy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jones on the ground.

Daddy tries to lock up and control but Jones gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Jones is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Daddy can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Daddy slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Jones wants to control but Daddy is keeping him busy.
Jones winds up and cracks Daddy with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Jones thows a huge punch but Daddy dodges it nicely.
Daddy has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Jones is working away from the top position though.
Jones prevents Daddy from improving his position.

Jones is working for a kimura but Daddy is defending it quite comfortably.

Jones is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Jones wants to take a breather but Daddy is having none of it.
Daddy has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Jones is working away from the top position though.

Jones takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That was a close round but I would say that VooDoo Daddy will probably get the nod.

Daddy lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jones circles away quickly and effectively.
Daddy misses with a low kick.
Daddy looks to land a body kick but Jones moved away.
Daddy stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Daddy wants it to stay on the feet.
Jones tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Daddy scores with a nice right hand.
VooDoo Daddy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Daddy connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Jones is breathing heavily.
A jab from Daddy finds it's way through Jones's defenses.
Jones wants to clinch up but Daddy keeps it at a distance.
Jones takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

A nice leg kick lands there from Daddy.
Jones seems to have recovered his senses.
Daddy scores with a crisp jab that stopped Jones in his tracks.
Daddy goes for a small jab and connects. Now Daddy goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Jones stumbles back but Daddy runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Jones to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Jones will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
