Hogan comes into the arena with Real American blaring out of the sound system. Hulk Hogan has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hulk Hogan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jimmy Hall!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hogan moves away from the strike by Hall.
A shot to the body from Hall misses

and Hogan counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Hogan.

Hogan decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Hall misses with a shot to the body

so Hogan counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Hogan decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Hall, up you get!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hall throws a jab but it's blocked by Hogan.
Jimmy Hall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Hogan feints and as Hall raises his hands in defense, Hogan changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

so Hogan counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hogan gets to his feet - Hall follows without any prompting.
Hogan dives in and grabs Hall's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hall pushes down on Hogan's head and hops out.
Jimmy Hall is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Hogan feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Hogan stands and steps away. Hall gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Hall throws a series of punches but Hogan avoids them all with ease.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Hall ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hogan moves away.

Hogan shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hogan showed some decent athleticism there.
Hall wants to control but Hogan is keeping busy.
Hogan is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Hall can do to turn this around?

Hulk Hogan overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Hall is trying to maintain the position but Hogan is very close to passing his half guard.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Hall swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Hall leaves Hogan with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hogan, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
