Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Joe Piscopo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Urijah Faber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Piscopo comes into the arena with He's Carl Lewis blaring out of the sound system. Faber has chosen Choke - Red Jumpsuit Apparatus as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Faber tries for a takedown but Piscopo circles away easily
and Faber takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Piscopo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Faber tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Piscopo is able to avoid easily.
Faber misses with a takedown
and Piscopo counters with a three punch combo that has Faber backing up. Faber nods at Piscopo to acknowledge the strikes.

Piscopo decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Piscopo wants to control but Faber is keeping him busy.
