Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Seigo Okazawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mohamed Ahmed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Okazawa kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Monster. Ahmed has chosen Watch The Throne - Who Gon Stop Me as his entrance music. Mohamed Ahmed told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Paulo Santos and Edson Gomes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ahmed darts in trying to clinch

and Okazawa decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Ahmed's guard.
Ahmed pulls Okazawa in to control the position.
Okazawa won't allow Ahmed to sweep him here.
Okazawa advances to half guard.

Ahmed is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Okazawa is staying active.
Okazawa tries to pass the half guard into mount. Ahmed knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Seigo Okazawa has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

and Okazawa moves into the clinch.

Okazawa is trying to trip Ahmed. He has hold of a leg but Ahmed is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Okazawa persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Ahmed working a defensive guard but Okazawa passes into half guard.
Ahmed wants to control but Okazawa is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Ahmed really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Okazawa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Seigo Okazawa.
Ahmed throws a half hearted mid kick.
Ahmed moves in looking to clinch but Okazawa pushes him off.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Okazawa bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ahmed wants to control but Okazawa postures up.

We're going to have a standup here because Seigo Okazawa wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Ahmed keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Ahmed shoots and misses
and Okazawa cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Okazawa closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Ahmed did well to prevent Okazawa getting side control.

Ahmed is trying to maintain the position but Okazawa is very close to passing his half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Okazawa is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Ahmed sees it coming and defends easily.
Ahmed wants to control but Okazawa is keeping busy.
Ahmed controlling the position well.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ahmed is looking to control Okazawa's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Ahmed avoid being mounted?
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Ahmed has his takedown stuffed
enabling Okazawa to counter with a crisp jab.
Okazawa Throws a clean left jab. Okazawa Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Ahmed's chin! Ahmed crumbles to the ground and Okazawa follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Okazawa!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Seigo Okazawa!
A relieved looking Seigo Okazawa thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
