Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Scott Robertson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Hamder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Hamder!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robertson shoots in but Hamder avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Hamder is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Hamder is looking to improve his position but Robertson isn't that keen on the idea.

Robertson goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Hamder turns into him and now he's in Robertson's guard.

Hamder wants to pass the guard but Robertson is keeping the position.
Robertson manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Robertson lands a big shot there that rocks Hamder but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Robertson has hold of Hamder's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Hamder manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Robertson swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Hamder is now in Robertson's guard. A big mistake from Robertson there, giving up the dominant position!
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Robertson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Hamder controls the pace.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Robertson decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Robertson darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Robertson looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Robertson decides to stand and escape the position.

Hamder is not content to let Robertson control the position.

Robertson is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Hamder has escaped the position, nice work there.

Robertson works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

You can see the frustration on Hamder's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Robertson cracks Hamder with a big right hand but Hamder just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

It looks like Jack Hamder has been cut.

Scott Robertson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Hamder.

Robertson turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Robertson manages to end up in side control.

Robertson is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Hamder is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Robertson decides to stand back up. Robertson steps back and let's Hamder get back to his feet.
Robertson shoots in for a takedown but Hamder shows good takedown defense.
Hamder bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Robertson's head backwards.

Robertson is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Hamder gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Robertson wants to sweep here but Hamder controlling him for the moment.

Robertson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hamder doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hamder manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Robertson gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Robertson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hamder as he jumps to the side.

Hamder thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Robertson if he has to take too many more of those.

And that's the end of the fight!

I think Robertson has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
