The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Anthony Taglia and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ismangulov takes a swing at Magaba's ribcage but misses.
Magaba shoots in but no luck this time.
Magaba is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Magaba.
Ismangulov is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Magaba asserts his dominance and retains side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Magaba is trying to get an arm triangle but Ismangulov is defending well.
Magaba has hold of Ismangulov's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Ismangulov tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Magaba cranks the arm and Ismangulov screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Ismangulov, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Mookie Magaba!
