Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Esteban Rodrigo Estiarte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reece Tomko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Estiarte cracks a nice hook into Tomko's ribs.
Tomko throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Estiarte's waist but Estiarte gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tomko off to one side.
Estiarte scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Estiarte pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Tomko takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Estiarte connects with a body shot.
Estiarte lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Tomko on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Estiarte. Estiarte obviously looking to wear him down.

Estiarte closes the distance and pushes Tomko back into the cage.

Tomko throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Estiarte blocks it with crossed arms.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Estiarte.

Tomko is pushing Estiarte up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Estiarte lands a left hand that snaps the head of Tomko backwards.

Tomko wants to get back to striking at distance but Estiarte won't allow it.

Tomko is trying to push Estiarte away but Estiarte has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Esteban Rodrigo Estiarte.
Tomko closes the distance but Estiarte moves to the side
and Tomko takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

A jab from Estiarte finds it's way through Tomko's defenses.

It looks like Reece Tomko has been cut.

Tomko ducks straight into an uppercut from Estiarte and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Tomko manages to regain guard straight away.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Estiarte is working Tomko over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Estiarte passes Tomko's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Estiarte looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Tomko with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Estiarte is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Estiarte is nestled in close to Tomko, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
