The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Saint Randy instigates a clinch.
Rolla is defending well against a takedown attempt.

Rolla pulls guard successfully.
Rolla wants to stand up but Saint Randy is controlling him.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Saint Randy accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Saint Randy throws a big right hand that misses.

Saint Randy gets to his feet - Rolla follows without any prompting.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Rolla.
Rolla wants to lay and pray for a moment but Saint Randy keeps working.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rolla is trying to get back to his feet but Saint Randy has full control of the position and if anything, Rolla has just worked his way into a worse spot.
