Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gustavo Pedreira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ariel Elias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Elias's choice of entrance music: Maha Kali (live). Ariel Elias will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gustavo Pedreira!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ariel Elias!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Alexandre Firmino and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Elias keeps the fight on the outside.
Pedreira tries to close the distance and clinch up but Elias swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Elias changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pedreira looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Elias cracks Pedreira with a big elbow.
Pedreira tries to buck Elias off but Elias is having none of it.
Pedreira wants to get back to his feet but Elias drags him back down.
Elias lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
It looks like Gustavo Pedreira has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Elias moves into full mount!
Elias is working for a guillotine from mount but Pedreira frees his head quite easily.
Pedreira knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Elias on the ground.
Elias won't let Pedreira get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Elias has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
The referee warns Pedreira that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Pedreira might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Elias is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Pedreira to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Pedreira shrugs it off.
Pedreira has given up his back. Will we see Elias going for some submissions?
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Pedreira is trying to get back to his feet but Elias has full control of the position and if anything, Pedreira has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Pedreira is breathing heavily.
The referee is taking a good look at Pedreira as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Elias!
Jeez, Gustavo Pedreira's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Gustavo Pedreira's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
