Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Zeth Saarsgard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andre Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Saarsgard comes to the cage accompanied by A Perfect Circle - Passive. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saarsgard tries to clinch up.
Santos tries to clinch but Saarsgard is having none of it.

Santos feints and then cracks Saarsgard's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Saarsgard down.
Saarsgard throws a left and a right that both miss
and Santos counters with an outside leg kick.
Santos avoids a punch combination nicely.

Saarsgard changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Santos looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Santos bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Saarsgard avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Saarsgard looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Saarsgard shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Santos manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Santos is pulling down on Saarsgard's head to control his posture.

Santos is working an open guard so Saarsgard takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Saarsgard shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Saarsgard showed some decent athleticism there.

Santos pushes Saarsgard off and gets back to his feet.

Saarsgard closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Saarsgard misses with a head shot. Santos uses the momentum to regain guard.
Saarsgard throws a big elbow that misses.
Saarsgard is looking to work some ground and pound but Santos has wrist control.
Saarsgard postures up in Santos's guard and throws a big left but Santos blocks it.
Saarsgard looking to sit in guard and control but Santos gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Santos stays in close to Saarsgard's body and controls the position.

Saarsgard escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Santos gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Saarsgard wants to stand up but Santos is controlling him.

Saarsgard on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Saarsgard tries to get out of the position.
Santos is controlling the pace.

Saarsgard is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Santos pulls his head out easily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Saarsgard is trying to stand up here but Santos is controlling him well.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Saarsgard rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Santos moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Saarsgard throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Santos counters with a leg kick.

Saarsgard feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Saarsgard postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Santos covers up, he's hurt! Saarsgard keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Saarsgard and the ref steps in to end the fight! Saarsgard can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
