The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holt swats away the attempt to clinch by McFly.

McFly closes the distance and clinches.
McFly lands an elbow that stopped Holt in his tracks for a moment.

It looks like Manny Holt has been cut.
McFly misses with an elbow strike.
McFly tries to land a knee to the head but Holt blocks with his arms.
A nice left hand lands by McFly.
McFly lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

Holt bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Holt lands with a straight right. McFly didn't see that one coming.

It looks like Bojangles McFly has been cut.
Holt shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

McFly rushes Holt and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Holt tries to circle away but McFly has him pinned against the cage.
McFly misses with a punch on the inside.
McFly lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
McFly prevents Holt from breaking the clinch.
Holt wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but McFly has him pressed against the cage.
McFly tries a knee to the head but Holt blocks it.
McFly using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Holt has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Holt has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but McFly regains guard immediately.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
McFly is trying to control the position but Holt postures up.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

McFly is pressed up against the cage. Holt has hold of a leg and is looking to drag McFly down to the mat. McFly avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
McFly throws an overhand right that lands on Holt's shoulder, as Holt tries to avoid the shot.
McFly lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

That has opened up Manny Holt's cut even more.
McFly misses with a looping right.
McFly takes a body punch but keeps moving.
McFly is looking to clinch.

McFly clinches up with Holt and pushes him back against the cage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Holt wants to get back to striking at distance but McFly won't allow it.

McFly throws a big shot that misses.

McFly rushes Holt and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
McFly pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, McFly just misses with a elbow thrown towards Holt's brow.

Holt tries to stall but McFly uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
McFly throws a punch but it's blocked by Holt.
McFly scores with a shot to the side of Holt's head.

Holt is trying to work for a single leg takedown but McFly pulls him back up using the underhooks.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fight stays on the outside here - McFly looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
McFly connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Holt uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from McFly.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Holt connects with a good right hand that stumbles McFly. McFly circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
McFly tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Holt paws at him with a jab and circles away.

McFly rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Holt moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Bojangles McFly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McFly takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
McFly gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Holt gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! McFly is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
