The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Touredo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A looping hook to the body misses from Il. Touredo does a little dance to reset his feet.
Il throws a left and a right that both miss
and Touredo counters with a low kick, right behind Il 's knee.
Il keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Touredo moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

It looks like Driello Touredo has been cut.
Touredo connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Touredo pushes Il away with a front kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Touredo does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Touredo feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Il's calf.

Il is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Touredo defends well.

Touredo drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Il dives on top into guard.

Il is looking to stand up but Touredo won't let him.
Touredo is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Touredo working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Il doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Il manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Touredo wants to stand and escape but Il is having none of it.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Touredo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

No joy there for Touredo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Il, as that shot connected.
Touredo works over Il's head and body with a nice combination.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Il wants to clinch up but Touredo keeps it at a distance.
Il on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Touredo. Touredo obviously looking to wear him down.

Touredo clobbers Il with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Jeez, Kim Jong Il's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
