Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Malcolm Master (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vedran Russo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vedran Russo will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Russo forces Master back against the cage and clinches.
Master tries to score a body lock takedown but Russo shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Russo throws a nice looking combination but Master bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Master gets caught flat footed, as Russo shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Master is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Russo is aware though and is defending well.
Russo has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Master is proving hard to escape from.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Russo got a little sloppy there for a moment and Master has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Russo has managed to get both his arms back between Master's legs - danger averted.
