Powers's entrance music is We Run This - Missy Elliot. A fine choice. Christ has chosen All that Heavenly Glory as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Christ looks for a takedown but Powers sprawls well.

Powers isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Christ stacks Powers on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Christ!

Christ fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Powers to the ground. Christ is now in Powers's guard.

Powers goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Christ rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Powers's guard! Nice work there by Christ!

Powers escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Christ gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Christ drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Powers manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Christ has Powers in his guard.
