Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brock Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tomas Havel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brock Lesnar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tomas Havel!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Havel is trying hard to land a takedown here. Lesnar sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Havel uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lesnar.
The fighters circling - Lesnar throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Brock Lesnar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lesnar clinches with his opponent.
Lesnar drops down looking for an ankle pick but Havel pulls his leg out and moves away.
Havel shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lesnar sprawls well. Lesnar wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Havel gets slowly back to his feet.
Havel tries to clinch up but Lesnar circles away and keeps his distance.
Lesnar tries to score a power double leg takedown but Havel sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lesnar somewhat.

and Havel holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Havel drops down looking for an ankle pick but Lesnar pulls his leg out and moves away.
Brock Lesnar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tomas Havel.
Lesnar throws a looping overhand right but Havel ducks down to avoid it.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Lesnar closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lesnar accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Havel manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Lesnar manages to get himself to full guard.
