The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kicasstis throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jones Jr's waist but Jones Jr gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kicasstis off to one side.
Jones Jr wants to clinch up but Kicasstis keeps it at a distance.
Jones Jr tries to clinch but Kicasstis moves out of range.
No luck for Kicasstis with that takedown attempt.
Jones Jr shoots in but Kicasstis avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Kicasstis wants to take a breather but Jones Jr is having none of it.

Kicasstis tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jones Jr paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Kicasstis takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
