The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Senichev lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Cesariny circles away quickly and effectively.

Cesariny shoots in and bounces Senichev off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Cesariny distracts Senichev with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cesariny controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Cesariny pushes down on Senichev's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Still in half guard, Cesariny seems content to control.
