The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pong getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
A jab lands there for Pong.
Pong lands a nice shot that snaps Buakaw's head back.
Buakaw throws a low kick but Pong avoids it.
Pong lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Buakaw tries to score with a low kick but Pong moves his leg out of the way.

and Pong counters with a right hand to the body.
Buakaw looks to land a combination but Pong avoids it well.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pong catches Buakaw with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Pong scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Pong's jab looks to have found its range, popping Buakaw under the eye.
Buakaw misses the shot to the body.

Buakaw throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pong.
Buakaw takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Pong lands with a thumping leg kick.
Pong connects with a high kick.

Buakaw is rocked!
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Pong - that will leave a mark!
Buakaw is still on wobbly legs! Can Pong finish him?
Pong closes the distance and catches Buakaw with a lead hook that drops him to the canvas! Buakaw is clearly dazed and struggling here! 3,4,5,6,7 and Buakaw is up to his feet but the referee has called it off! Buakaw is still far too wobbly and he's not going to allow the fight to continue! Pong takes it!
