Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Grizzly Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Urijah Aldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Adams takes the fight into the clinch.
Aldo pushes off an throws an elbow but Adams leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Aldo is trying to push Adams away but Adams has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Adams is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Aldo pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Aldo throws a knee to the head but misses.
Adams tries to pull guard but Aldo won't allow it.

Aldo turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Aldo turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Aldo manages to end up in side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Aldo has a couple of punches blocked by Adams.
Adams is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Aldo gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Adams turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Adams manages to end up in side control.

Adams wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Aldo, who protects the arm well.

Adams misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Aldo is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Adams gets his way!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Grizzly Adams.
