The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
womp throws a quick inside leg kick.
Ramage has taken the fight to the clinch.
womp wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
womp jumps guard but Ramage stands there with womp around his waist. womp gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Ramage tightens his grip and picks womp up, before dumping him to the ground. womp manages to land in guard.
Ramage sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Ramage wants to control from the top but womp keeps moving.
womp is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

womp wants to stand and escape but instead Ramage has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

womp can't keep his opponent in guard - Ramage advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
womp is trying to stand up here but Ramage is controlling him well.
Ramage tries to pass the half guard into mount. womp knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Ramage content to control rather than advance.
womp is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Ramage pulls his head out easily.
Ramage is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

womp makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Donk. womp catches Ramage right on the button with a cross.
It looks like Slade Ramage has been cut.
womp darts in and clinches Ramage up against the cage.
womp tries to pull guard but Ramage holds him up against the cage and eventually womp drops back down to his feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
