PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eddy Cordo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Teofilo Crespo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cordo comes to the cage accompanied by UFC Theme Song. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Eddy Cordo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Teofilo Crespo!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crespo moves out of range of the body kick from Cordo.
Cordo stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Cordo wants it to stay on the feet.

Cordo gets tackled into the cage by Crespo. Crespo maintains the clinch.

Crespo jumps guard and drags Cordo to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
