No joy there for Ripley, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Ripley wants to get up but he can't break Ricard's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Ricard wants to stand and escape but Ripley is having none of it.
Ripley is posturing up here but Ricard has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Ripley tries to roll out but it's too tight and Ripley has to tap! Slick submission there by Ricard!

Frank Ricard spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
