Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wynston Church (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Carlson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carlson has chosen Remember Me (Abstract Reality) - CunninLynguists as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carlson misses with a double jab
and Church counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Carlson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Church is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Church throws a big right hand that misses.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Church's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Church looking to pass the guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Carlson avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Church stands up over Carlson, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Church controls from within his opponent's guard.
Carlson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Church. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Church works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Church is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Church lands a nice short elbow.
Still in half guard, Church seems content to control.

Church working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Church cracks Carlson with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Church lands a big elbow.
Carlson is squirming around, avoiding Church's attempts to control the action.
Church raining down shots from the mount!
Carlson is rocked!
Church softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Carlson is out cold! Church jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wynston Church!
