The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammer works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Hammer listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Hammer misses with a looping left.
Hammer lands with a straight right. Barera didn't see that one coming.
Barera looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Hammer lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Barera takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Hammer throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Barera stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hammer throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Barera on the side of the head.
Hammer misses with a few strikes there.

Barera shoots in but Hammer avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Hammer cracks Barera with an open hand slap.
Hammer misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Barera fails with the takedown.

Barera is looking to clinch but Hammer is avoiding it.

Hammer scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Hammer lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Barera can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Hammer and Barera drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Hammer.
