Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Corey Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Briar McGuire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith comes to the cage accompanied by Baby, One More Time - Ten Masked Men. McGuire has chosen Boondock Saints Theme as his entrance music. Corey Smith has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Briar McGuire!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Dean Styles and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGuire tests Smith's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Smith misses with a combination
and McGuire counters with a straight right hand.
Smith feints a jab promting McGuire to slip. Smith then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. McGuire slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
A jab lands there for McGuire.
McGuire shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Smith wants to stand and escape but McGuire is having none of it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
McGuire makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Smith on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Smith tries to get out of the position.

Smith can't keep his opponent in guard - McGuire advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
McGuire seems to be looking for submissions.

McGuire has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

McGuire is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Smith knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Smith takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

McGuire cracks Smith with an elbow. That is naaassty.

McGuire cracks Smith with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! McGuire immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Smith is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by McGuire!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Briar McGuire!
An intense looking Briar McGuire took to the microphone post fight and gave a little speech: 'Sorry to do that to you Smith, but after getting robbed against Cade, I had to put you down. I would still like to know how much cash those judges made for that one. '.
