Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Buddy Palermo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Bramlet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bramlet shoots in but no luck this time.
Bramlet will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Bramlet isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Palermo stacks Bramlet on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Palermo!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Palermo cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Palermo in particular looking to stall.

Palermo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Palermo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Palermo feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Bramlet working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Palermo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Palermo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
