Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Michal Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vito Swu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swu just misses with a punch to the body.
Swu fails with a takedown attempt.
Silva shoots in looking for a takedown but Swu manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Silva's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Silva takes the fight into the clinch.

Swu has clasped his hands together around Silva's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Swu is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Silva will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Silva's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Swu goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Silva is on top in guard.

Swu wants to get back to his feet but Silva is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Silva takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Silva closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Swu to the mat! Swu manages to get full guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close round but I would say that Michal Silva will probably get the nod.

Silva tightens his grip and picks Swu up, before dumping him to the ground. Swu manages to land in guard.

Swu moves in looking to clinch but Silva pushes him off.
Swu tries to bum rush Silva with a series of wild strikes but Silva uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Swu stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Swu wants it to stay on the feet.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
