Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Antonio Williams!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Josh Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Williams looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Williams thows a huge punch but Johnson dodges it nicely.

Williams is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Johnson is just riding it out for now. Williams eventually gives up the hold.
Johnson works his way to full guard. Good work.
Williams throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Johnson has his foot on Williams's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Williams works his way back into a safe position though.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Johnson has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Williams is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Johnson.

Josh Johnson decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
