Sheilds is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Di Angelo is just riding it out for now. Sheilds eventually gives up the hold.

and Sheilds counters with a shoot takedown. Di Angelo fights it but they end up in guard.

Sheilds drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Sheilds jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Kevin Sheilds will probably get the nod.

Sheilds has gone for a leg lock! Di Angelo slips out almost immediately though and dives into Sheilds's guard.

Sheilds is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Di Angelo frees his head nicely. Oh but Sheilds has switched to an armbar! Di Angelo is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
